MAGISTRATES have handed a 31-year-old man a suspended prison sentence after he attacked three police officers.
Anthony Noel, of Tonge Moor Road, Tonge Moor, admitted three counts of assaulting police officers on November 14 when he appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court.
He also admitted causing a man and a woman fear or provocation of violence.
Noel was sentenced to 21 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
He must also carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and pay a total of £650 in compensation to his victims plus an £80 victim surcharge.
