FOUR men from Bolton borough have been sent for trial over alleged gun offences.
They all appeared on Wednesday at Salford Magistrates' Court accused of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The charges relate to the shooting of a 24-year-old man in Coniston Avenue, Little Hulton, on October 5 last year, and shots being fired in three separate incidents five days later.
Magistrates sent all four men for trial at Manchester Crown Court – where they will appear on November 2 – and remanded them back into custody.
The defendants are:
n Patrick McCann, aged 31, of Baron Fold Crescent, Little Hulton
n Jamie Morris, aged 21, of Townsfield Road, Westhoughton
n Saim Kinteh, aged 23, of St Germain Street, Farnworth
n Anthony Smith, aged 23, of Cannon Street, Deane, and
n John Kennedy, aged 43, of Dunedin Drive, Salford
