I am seeking descendants of my great grandfather William Arthur Bootham (known as Arthur).
Born 1858 Derbyshire, died Bolton 1903, Arthur married Mary Ann Morgan in 1881 in Manchester but later moved to Oak Street, Bolton.
I know, from family research that Arthur and Mary Ann had four children Frederick, Arthur, Joseph and Cicely, and that Arthur married an Elizabeth Ellen Riding and they had two children also Arthur born 1908 and Cicely born 1904.
As my father was adopted out by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Ethel Bootham (nee Dearden) we had no contact with my father's (Joe Bootham) birth family.
My father also had a brother Fred born 1920.
I am now in contact with family members of other branches, but would love to find members of my direct line of the Bootham family.
