FESTIVE celebrations came early for excited youngsters as Clevelands Nursery and Preparatory School, in Chorley New Road, held a Christmas fair.
The event meant a special non-uniform day, with many of the pupils getting involved in the fun by donning Christmas jumpers and dressing up as elves.
Some teachers also dressed up as Santa’s little helpers — and of course there was a visit from Father Christmas himself.
The event was organised by the school’s parents and teachers association.
There were also Christmas games and activities, including tombolas and pass-the-parcel.
Mr Knowles, deputy head of Clevelands Nursery and Preparatory School, said: “The children had a really good time and it was a very successful event.
“I would like to thank the school’s PTA for organising it.
“They are absolutely amazing and we’re very grateful for them arranging events like this.”
