HUNDERDS of people are outside Bolton Town Hall tonight protesting against cuts to services and a controversial grant awarded to law firm, Asons.
Other protestors in the crowd appear to be from the Stop the Mosque group which held a protest in Victoria Square at the weekend.
There have been angry, verbal exchanges between the two distinct protest groups.
Chants of ‘Morris out’ have been heard in reference to embattled council leader, Cliff Morris.
He is later expected to answer questions relating to the controversial £300,000 grant awarded in secret to Bolton-based law firm, Asons.
More pictures and videos will be added during the course of the evening.
