FOOTAGE of two masked men who robbed a supermarket has been released by police.
The pair, one armed with a hammer and one with a shotgun, burst into The Co-op supermarket in Astley on December 7 at 9pm.
They forced two workers to hand over a large quantity of cigarettes and cash, stuffing the haul into a duvet cover before fleeing the store.
Detective Constable Christopher Waddicar, of Wigan police, said: "This was a cowardly act which left the victims fearing for their lives and both remain shaken by what happened that night."
Contact police on 101, quoting reference number 2212 of December 7 2016.
