CADETS shared tea and a chat with elderly residents of a sheltered housing scheme.
Bolton Police Cadets visited the communal lounge over the Christmas holidays to share a drink with tenants at Eden Lodge in Eden Street, Astley Bridge, for an event called Christmas Cuppa With A Cadet.
All 31 residents received a card and gift - and for those who were less mobile the youngsters hand-delivered the present to their flats making sure nobody was left out.
Sergeant Mike Sharples said: "The cadets brought some festive cheer by spending time talking to the residents over a brew and handing out presents that the cadets had donated money for.
"The evening was enjoyed by all with the visit being appreciated by the residents and staff."
Police have requested if there are any forthcoming community events you would like the police cadets to attend please contact boltonpolicecadets@gmp.police.uk for more information.
