TEENAGERS proved themselves to be on the ball while taking part in football coaching sessions alongside Bolton Wanderers players.
Bolton Wanderers Community Trust’s was running the Every Player Counts programme which involved on this occasion Firwood High School students getting six weeks of football coaching from the trust coaches.
The sessions, which were held at Bolton Wanderers’ Eddie Davies Academy, Lostock, look to inspire the students to take part in more football and increase the participation levels in disability football.
The trust also runs weekly coaching sessions for those with disabilities, but catering for all ages.
The programme is funded by the Wembley National Stadium Trust and managed by the English Football League Trust.
Wanderers professionals Max Clayton and Chris Long paid a special visit to a session, where they joined in with their drills and a small sided game before signing autographs for the youngsters.
