ROYAL Bolton Hospital’s annual baby remembrance service will take place in April at a new venue.
The memorial will be at Kings Church, in Millfield Road, on April 2 at 3pm due to renovation works at the hospital.
Designed for people of all faiths and none, the multi-faith service is for any family who has lost a baby and will include an act of remembrance, readings, poems and music for reflection.
Following the service, there will be refreshments and an opportunity to talk with staff from the Princess Anne Maternity Unit, Neo-natal unit, and Chaplaincy Department.
The Rev Catherine Binns, deputy head chaplain, said the service was appreciated by families. She adds: “This service is very successful in giving that opportunity and offering support and understanding. We hope many people will attend.”
