A MAN died of organ failure following an attempted hanging, an inquest heard.
The inquest into the death of Kenneth Daniels, 69, of Limefield Road, Smithills, opened at Bolton Coroner’s Court yesterday.
Mr Daniels was discovered in his garage on March 21 and died the following day at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
A post-mortem examination gave the provisional cause of death as organ failure due to attempted hanging.
A police investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances or evidence of third-party involvement. Coroner Alan Walsh adjourned the inquest until July 20.
