EAGLE-EYED viewers may have spotted a family beauty spot on TV recently.

Sainsbury’s latest Easter advert features Rivington Pike and the Grade II listed tower.

The Horwich beauty spot is only in view for a matter of seconds but observant viewers have already noticed leaving comments on Twitter and Youtube.

In the video children can be seen throwing chocolate Easter eggs down the hill before chasing after them.

The Bolton News:

Chorley Borough Council owns the tower and part of the surrounding land and gave permission for the advert to be filmed.

Knucklehead, a London-based production company, launched in 2005, made the home video style advert, which is believed to have been filmed in January.

The company is also responsible for the “Food Dancing” Sainsbury’s advert and the hipster coffee culture spoof for McDonald’s.
