HUNDREDS of youngsters took part in the world’s largest Ironkids event today in Bolton
The races took place around Victoria Square and Le Mans Crescent in the town centre.
The children's ages go all the way from pre-school and nursery children who take part in a 500m race, up to secondary school pupils in years 9 and 10, who tackle a 2km event.
We had a photographer there to capture all the action.
