A TOWN centre car park can continue operating for another two years.
The car park next to the G Casino in Ormrod Street has operated on a temporary basis for 14 years and the council has agreed that it can stay open.
A planning office report said that it hoped the development of the new bus interchange will encourage more people to access the town centre via public transport, which is why only two years’ permission was granted.
