IT will be lovely to see so many local youngsters taking part in the Bolton Octagon theatre’s version of E Nesbit’s much-loved story The Railway Children.
One hundred youngsters will be involved, with 21 picked out specially to play the main characters. The production is part of the Octagon’s 50th anniversary season and is a great family choice.
Acting experience is so helpful to children – it promotes confidence and offers them, quite literally, a stage for their talents.
The Octagon has a fine record with its children’s productions and this one promises to be as entertaining as always. Can’t wait!
