A COMPANY has just handed over the keys to a new car given away as part of a prize draw held at Bolton Food And Drink Festival.
Sue Haslam was the lucky winner in the free competition run by Stateside Foods and recently drove home her new Kia Picanto.
The Westhoughton-based pizza business confirmed 1,400 people had filled out the competition form, which quizzed entrants on pizza production, numbers of staff and the company's zero waste to landfill achievement.
Ms Haslam, from Bolton, visited the Kia dealership in Middlebrook for a presentation and Stateside Foods managing director Jon Lucas handed her the keys.
Mr Lucas said: "I am so pleased that the exciting competition was a success at this year’s food festival. As usual it was a pleasure meeting the people of Bolton and doing something a bit different than previous years."
This year was the fifth that Stateside Foods had been a main sponsor of the Bolton Food And Drink Festival.
