TWO Bolton amenities have been named in the tourist board’s list of 101 things to do in Greater Manchester.
Bolton Central Library And Museum and Smithills Open Farm were named in the list created by Visit Manchester.
The board praised the former for its ‘wide range of activities’ including the trails, themed weeks and talks, as well as the aquarium and the free entry.
Smithills Open Farm, set on 70 acres of rolling countryside, offers visitors the chance to meet and learn about animals from its goats to more ‘unusual’ species like Burmese pythons.
