FIREFIGHTERS have issued yet another warning after a stolen wheelie bin was set on fire.
A crew from Bolton North fire station were called to the blaze off Waggon Road, Breightmet, at around 2.15am on Sunday.
Crew manager Mark McCourt said: "We have had a lot of this going on over the last few weeks.
"The message we are putting out again to residents is to put your bins out on collection day and then bring them back in, rather than leaving them where they can be stolen.
"This incident was also reported as being caused by a gang of youths, so I would add that parents need to keep an eye on where their kids are and what they are doing."
Last week, similar bin fires were reported in Queen Street and Winter Hey Lane, in Horwich, as well as Barlow Park and Rumworth Park.
