NORTHERN Rail has published revised timetables that will operate during strike action tomorrow, Wednesday November 8.

Northern plans to run more than 1,300 services and will operate around 65 per cent of its normal timetable between 7am and 9am.

RMT union members are striking over a dispute over the future of train guards.

Sharon Keith, regional director at Northern, said: “We are prepared to guarantee jobs and pay for conductors for the next eight years if we can reach agreement on how our colleagues can deliver better customer service in the future.”

Details of the revised timetables can be found on Northern’s industrial action page at northernrailway.co.uk/strike. This includes information on any rail replacement bus services that Northern will provide.
