A CRASH involving a drink-driver left a car on its side and fast food lying in the road.
Police were called to Wingates Lane, in Westhoughton, yesterday evening.
Officers found a car lying on the driver's side and badly damaged.
The driver side window had been smashed and there was also damage to the windscreen and the wing mirror had also come off.
The air bag had deployed in the crash and pictures show burgers and fast food containers on the road after coming out of the smashed window.
No-one was injured in the crash.
Police arrested the driver and took them to custody where the blew a reading of 45 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.
Officers closed the road while the vehicle was cleared.
