TWO lanes were blocked on the motorway because of a broken down lorry.
The vehicle was causing problems on the M61 heading away from Bolton near where it joins the A666.
Two lanes were closed and traffic was queuing while recovery work takes place.
Travel time was around 30 minutes through the area.
Police were spotted at the scene while the work took place.
It was cleared earlier this morning but there are still some delays in the area.
