EMERGENCY services were called to three car crash on Saturday night.

The smash happened at 9.45pm on Thicketford Road on the border of Breightmet and Tonge Moor and involved a Mini, a taxi and a Seat Leon.

One car was left on its side following the crash.

No one was trapped and fire crews made the cars safe.

A fire spokesman said that there were a total of seven people in the cars and one was take to hospital. None are thought to have suffered serious injuries.
