SEVENTY-five-years on and Bolton Music Service continues to hit the right note.
To celebrate the special anniversary, Bolton Youth Orchestra and Bolton Youth Harmonies will take to the stage for a gala concert at the Albert Halls on Saturday.
Musicians will be joined by Bolton Youth Harmonies and past members.
The programme will include Dvorak's Symphony No.9 "The New World", a new commission and a joint item with Bolton Youth Orchestra and Youth Harmonies.
Special guest will be Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Elaine Sherrington.
Bolton Youth Orchestra was formed in 1943 and Bolton Music Service was born from this first ensemble.
The orchestra remains a flagship ensemble for Bolton Music Service.
The concert is the second to take place to celebrate the 75th anniversary.
