I am looking for anyone who remembers me from the FADS Homecare paint and wallpaper store that used to be on Yorkshire Street in Rochdale, and the branch in Oldham.
I was the store manager there until 1976 when I emigrated to Canada.
I have some good memories of being in Rochdale, especially working with Nellie Wright and another lady called Olive? Olive's husband used to call in regularly, he was a nice guy.
We had a good time working together.
I remember Nellie's daughter worked at McDougall's in Whitefield on the order desk.
Some of the nicest people I have ever met worked on Yorkshire Street, one in particular Marilyn who worked in the dry cleaners across the street.
I would love to get in touch with anyone who remembers me.
