The driver of this motorbike failed to stop for police
THE driver of a motorbike has been arrested after failing to stop for police.
Traffic officers said the biker was "clearly experienced."
A male driver failed to stop in Knott Lane, Doffcocker, when pursued by police yesterday afternoon.
Greater Manchester Police's traffic patrols tweeted about the incident: "He clearly was experienced and came to a stop where he was boxed in.
"Following a foot chase through the estate he was detained nearby on suspicion of theft of the motor vehicle.
"The vehicle was recovered."
A red motorbike with a 125cc engine was seized by police.
