HARRY Redknapp has put a block on Wanderers' bid to sign Matt Taylor.
The Portsmouth midfielder was on the brink of joining in a £3million move on Friday, only for the deal to be hijacked at 11th hour by Premiership rivals Sunderland.
Bolton boss Gary Megson hoped to resume talks with the versatile 26-year-old yesterday - but Redknapp has cast fresh doubts over the transfer.
The Pompey manager admitted Taylor wanted to leave, but revealed he was not going anywhere until he has brought fresh faces to Fratton Park.
