A BOLTON school is spearheading a new web-based learning programme.
Bolton School Girls' Division in Chorley New Road has introduced Studywiz - a teaching aid on the internet.
Andy Green-Howard, deputy head of Bolton School Girls' Division, said Studywiz allows pupils to learn "anytime and anywhere", helping to develop communication between pupils' and teachers.
He said: "Through Studywiz, we have succeeded in not just enhancing learning, but in transforming it."
The school's departments use the system to provide pupils with additional course information and links to useful websites.
Mr Green-Howard said it also allows parents to take an active role in their child's education as they can access Studywiz on their home computers.
