BOLTON-based creative design and marketing agency Portfolio has scooped the gold award at the 2007 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North-west Pride Awards for its "Carlisle is cleaner than ever" campaign.
Portfolio, based at St George's Square, Bolton, worked alongside Carlisle City Council to promote new environmental laws and tackle anti-social behaviour such as graffiti, litter, dog fouling, fly-tipping and fly-posting.
The project came top in the Corporate Communications category at the event.
The campaign included vehicle signage, lamp post stickers, information booklets, bus advertising and takeaway stickers to encourage people to take pride in their neighbourhood.
