WANDERERS are close to sealing a £1million deal to sign Celtic's giant centre-back, Bobo Balde.
The 32-year-old Guinea international is the man Gary Megson has earmarked to beef up his back line and is not concerned that his Reebok arrival could be delayed by African Nations Cup commitments.
The Bolton boss has confirmed his interest in powerful defender Balde but said he had yet to speak to the player.
"We have been talking to Celtic about trying to come up with a fee where we can talk to Bobo," he said. "But we're not there just yet."
