A 17-year-old motorcyclist was threatened with a handgun during a robbery in Droylsden.

The teenage boy was sitting on his motorbike on Fairfield Road at about 9.30pm on Sunday, December 30, when two men approached him.

One of the offenders was holding a black handgun and demanded the boy's bike.

The victim got off his bike and the two offenders got on it and rode off in the direction of Droylsden town centre. A white Fiat Scudo Van followed the bike and is believed to be connected to the offenders.

The victim was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.

The offender holding the gun is described as white, aged 17 to 20 years, 6ft tall and of slim build. He had short black hair, a long slim face with stubble around the chin and was wearing a dark coloured Air Max tracksuit with Air Limited written on both arms.

The second offender is described as mixed race, aged 17 to 20 years, 5ft 7in tall and of skinny build. He had short shaven black hair, bushy eyebrows and possible scarring on both cheeks. He was wearing a dark coloured Air Max top and black jeans and had a deep voice with a local accent.

The driver of the white van is described as a white man, aged 35 to 40 years with balding light coloured hair.
