VERNON Kay is set to star in a new Saturday night ITV show in which he will challenge members of the public to try and beat him at various tasks.
Contestants will compete against Vernon in seven challenges, ranging from a game of table tennis to more bizarre events, such as motorcar football.
Called Beat The Star, a pilot show has already been filmed in Germany. The series is due to be screened on ITV in April.
