BSF Over-35s League: PEAKE Fitness moved to the top of Division One after thumping an under-strength Bay Mare Strollers 7-0.

A Roy Naylor hat-trick, and two from Chris Mulcahy, did most of the damage but Chris Garvey's volley and Carl Higham's stunning free-kick were the pick of the goals.

The result means that Peake are a point clear at the top with a couple of games in hand whilst the Bay Mare remain in seventh place.

Walkden Fives surrendered top spot after losing 3-1 to Dobbies B, thanks to goals from Dave Wilkinson, Alan Truelove and Shields.

It was a disappointing result for Walkden, but Dobbies were the better team and thoroughly deserved the win and three points.

Eagley Sweet Green are a close third after a narrow 4-2 win over Stoneclough, with two goals from Philby and one apiece from Hutchinson and Edison. But it took a late goal to make sure of the points after goals from Ball and Barry had kept Stoneclough in the game.

Daten AFC moved up a place to fourth after a tight 1-0 win over Dobbies C, but it took a late winner from Ian Standish to snatch the points for Daten.

In Division Two, only one game survived the weather and third-placed Garswood United blew the title race wide open after beating leaders Park Wanderers 3-0.

Two goals from Steve Nugent and one from Steve Starr secured the well-deserved win for Garswood who are now just a point behind Park.

Third Division leaders Real Victoria opened up a six-point gap at the top after beating ICO Pal FC 1-0, but the scoreline does not truly reflect the match as Real missed a penalty, hit the woodwork and had a couple of efforts cleared off the line.

Breightmet United beat Golborne Parkside 4-1 with Mark Harrison bagging a brace and Paul Grimby scoring the third before Eddie Bickerstaffe wrapped up the points with the fourth.

The Crofters' second win on the bounce moved them off the bottom of the division after a 3-1 win over Ainsworth B with Neil Smith scoring two and Darren Hodkinson getting the third as The Crofters moved up three places to seventh.
