One of the first high street retailers to showcase its new wares was Debenhams. We treated you to a sneak peak in What's New a few weeks ago but now we have the full monty.

Here is a selection of what's on offer. Debenhams has gone crazy for metallics - try these courts from J Jeans by Jasper Conran at £40. Or these wedge cut-outs available in gold or silver at £40 also by Jasper Conran.

Debenhams has also embraced the revival of the maxi-dress, before Lily Allen got her mits on them. This printed one from Star by Julien Macdonald will set you back £140 - however it's the only one you'll need to take you through to the autumn.

Debenhams has also launched a swimwear range - perfect if you're going for some winter sun. This colourblock suit from J by Jasper Conran is £34 and embraces two trends in one - monochrome and brights. Who would have thought the two would mix.

Following on the monochrome feel is this gorgeous floral applique prom dress by Debut at £90. Perfect for that late winter/early spring wedding. How about a day at the races - all you need is your hat.

Jumping on the black and white bandwagon is New Look with this trilby hat, ankle sock combo. Or if that's too fashion forward then try this dungaree dress with knee high socks - the red trim gives it an up-to-date feel.

Our favourite by far is this peach and white dress with bow, and knee socks teamed with brown courts. It's fun, fresh and looks like it's stepped straight out of a boutique not high street store New Look.

Dorothy Perkins is going bright, bright, bright this spring with a collection sure to dazzle in the sun. This yellow sun dress costs £30 and will look perfect with a pair of grecian inspired sandals and a sun hat.

Heading off to the beach? Then go for this rainbow stripe bikini top at £8 and matching rainbow stripe bikini bottoms, also £8.

If you want to make more of a block colour statement then try this emerald foil bikini top at £8 and the matching bikini bottoms, also at £8.

This blue dress from Matalan is in a league of its own. The intricate lace and mix of aqua blue and crisp white gives it a mediterranean feel.

Last but not least Bolton Boutique is loving this skirt/jumper look. It is very French riviera, especially with the oversized sun hat. The pleated skirt and skinny belt combo is right on trend. Check out the brown chunky heels and quilted bag - taking you straight into 2008 with some of last season's key pieces.

This season is all about flirty brights, sheer, even see-through fabrics and high class glamour! Let's just hope the weather is a bit better this year after last year's wash-out.
