Three men held up a Northenden bar with a gun and forced customers to hand over their mobile phones.

Police were called to the Lounge About bar on Palatine Road just after 11.30pm following reports of the robbery.

On arrival officers found that the three robbers had come in through the front door of the bar, where two members of staff and four customers were finishing the evening.

One of the men was armed with a handgun.

They threatened a member of staff and forced them to hand over money from the till.

The man holding the gun then ordered the customers to go into the toilets of the bar, where he demanded they give him their mobile phones.

The second man was olive skinned or mixed race with brown eyes, of chubby build and around 5ft 6in tall. He was wearing all black, and a black balaclava.

The man holding the gun is described as white with blonde hair. He was wearing a black Nike hooded top and black trousers.
