David Cameron has officially opened boxer Amir Khan's community gym.
Delays on the train meant the Conservative Party leader did not arrive on time at Gloves Gym in Osman House, Prince Street.
But when he finally turned up, he took the time to look around the new facility, which is being funded by £700,000 of Amir's fortune.
He also spoke to Amir Khan, the assembled media and gym visitors.
Last September, the gym was the venue for the launch of the party's Young Adult Trust charity, which was formed in 2005 in response to a drive by Mr Cameron to revitalise youth work.
Amir's gym was selected because he has publicly backed the work of the charity.
The Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Barbara Ronson, will also be at the official opening of the gym, where youngsters can train for two hours for 50p.
