POLICE in Bolton have not ruled out the possibility of naming and shaming troublemakers who are subject to Anti-Social Behaviour Orders on a website.
This week, a list of people issued with ASBOs in Bury over the last six months - or who are believed to have breached their orders - was put online at www.burysafe.org.
The ASBO In Your Neighbourhood' initiative was launched by the BurySafe partnership to help ensure that people who have been given the orders do not continue to cause problems in the area.
Bolton's ASBO officer Pc Steve Sheppard said it was an idea that could be considered in Bolton.
He added: "It's something we would look into but no decisions have been made on this yet. A website like this would need to be managed on a daily basis."
