A road in Deane will be closed for one day whilst vital works take place.
Balshaw Close will be closed for manhole repairs on October 25 between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Balshaw Close to enable manhole repairs to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.

Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
