A cricket club is putting on a week of fun sporty activities for the kids to enjoy during the half-term break.

Deane and Derby Cricket Club is hosting a week of Keep Active events from Monday, October 24 to Thursday, October 27.

On October 24 from 10am to 11.30am, there will be a range of fun group games such as dodgeball, bulldog, skipping, tug of war and much more for ages 8 to 14 at a cost of £2.50.

On October 25 from 10am to 11am there will be blocks and kicks with no physical contact, skipping and floor mat work; all inspired by Thai, boxing and mixed martial arts.

These are for ages 8 to 14 and priced at £2.

On October 26 from at the same, there will be body fit for ages 14 plus.is 

Price £3 for adult and teenager or adult single £2.

On October 27 there will be girls' physical education with a mix of cardio and resistance exercises, tug or war and group games.

This is for ages 11 to 16 and priced at £2.

Also on the same day from 11.30am to 12.40pm there will be adult and teen health activities including abs, back and core.

This is for ages 11+. £2.50 for a pair and £1.50 for a single ticket.
