Step back in time to enjoy a Victorian Christmas at a historical landmark.
Scenic Outdoor Theatre will be performing ‘The Invention of Christmas’ next month at Turton Tower.
The interactive experience takes people back to Dickensian Christmas.
Children will be able to create their own Victorian Christmas decorations, design their own Penny Stamp and Christmas card to sent to Father Christmas and help to make the first Christmas cracker.
There will also be a short carol service.
The shows will run on Saturday December 17 and Sunday 18. Four shows will run a day, between 10-11am, 11.30am-12:30pm, 1.30-2.30pm and 3-4pm.
The onsite shop and café will be open for refreshments, and dogs are welcome at the event.
