Two Bolton eateries have been handed new food hygiene ratings after recent inspections by the Food Standards Agency.
The Village Store, a restaurant at 207 Longsight, Harwood, was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 26.
The inspection report states improvement is necessary for both the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building while major improvement is necessary for the management of food safety.
Frankies Chicken and Pizza, a takeaway at 83 Market Street, Farnworth, was given a score of zero on April 26.

According to the inspection report on the Food Standards Agency website, major improvement is necessary for both the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety and improvement is necessary for the hygienic food handling.
