Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision involving a parked vehicle.
The incident took place in Tyldesley Road at 8.40pm last night (June 3).
Fire crews from Atherton, Hindley, and Leigh attended the scene.
The occupants of the three vehicles involved were treated at the scene by the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), and taken to hospital for “precautionary checks”.
Watch Manager at Atherton, Steve Green says that one of the cars was moving whilst the other ones were stationary.
Firefighters remained on the scene for around an hour and a half whilst they made the area safe.
Mr Green said: “We got the call at 8.40pm.
“There was one moving vehicle, which went into parked cars.
“The occupants were treated at the scene by NWAS, and I believe they were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
“All three vehicles were left in situ for the police.
“We made the area safe.”
