Police seized 100 wraps of drugs and arrested three people after stopping a 'suspicious' vehicle in Bolton.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) arrested two men and a woman yesterday, Friday, June 30, after stopping the vehicle in Halliwell.
Officers seized 100 wraps of drugs, which they believe to be crack cocaine and heroin.
The seizure came as part of Operation Venture, a force initiative set up to tackle violent crime and serious criminality across the region.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, one of whom was also arrested for disqualified driving and no insurance.
A woman was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and breaching a court order.
A GMP spokesperson said: "GMP's dedicated proactive team for serious violence & knife crime, Operation Venture, were on patrol in Bolton today.
"The team use a range of tactics in uniform and plain clothes to keep members of the public safe.
