A Bolton teenager who starred on The Voice Kids is using his platform to put other young musicians on the map.

Music has always been a part of Will Edgar’s life after discovering his love for music at the tender age of six when he first learned the violin, before moving on to the guitar, drums and piano.

And as his career continues to soar to new heights, he has decided to organise his own event for up-and-coming musicians.

Will, 15, from Bromley Cross said: “I’m really excited to hold my own event in November and I’m really looking forward to it.

The Bolton News: “The night is planned of amazing music with a mixture of covers which have influenced me.

“Over the last year and also and all of my original music including a few unreleased songs.

“I’m working with some amazing musicians as part of my band and also some amazing support acts.

“Can’t wait to see everyone there.”

Will’s dad Mark says that it has been a big year for Will and this event will highlight his journey, as well as secure Bolton as a talent hotspot.

He said: “We are sharing Will’s journey and trying to paint a picture of how he has got where he has got to, and it is really important to showcase the musicians and the talent coming out of Bolton.

“For a young person to also be where Will is at is phenomenal.

“This is also a massive event for Will, and it will be exciting for him to share the stage with the up and coming artists and musicians.”

He will be joined by two support acts, including Arceu5, and another one yet to be revealed.

Tickets cost £9, while under 12s are priced at £4, plus a £1.50 booking fee.
