A law firm has made a key new appointment with a reputation for 'straight talking advice'.

Clough & Willis, which has offices in Little Lever and Bury, has appointed Andy Herricks as head of corporate.

The Bury-born professional brings more than 20 years of experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer to his new role.

Mr Herricks said: “As a Bury lad I am thrilled to return to my hometown and to take up this opportunity with Clough & Willis.

“Moving forward, my focus will be on delivering commercial legal services to clients old and new as well as developing new relationships to steer the team into its next phase of growth.”

His specialisms include share sales, acquisitions and MBOs through to advising on complex shareholders’ agreements, re-organisations, share buy-backs and de-mergers.

In 2008 Mr Herricks was a founding partners of a niche commercial firm in Blackburn and helped deliver regular growth in tough economic times.
