Police officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team have arrested two people in Halliwell.
Greater Manchester Police arrested the pair yesterday evening, December 12, whilst out in the area.
The first arrest came after officers stopped a vehicle due to the manner of driving.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink drive and remains in custody.
The second arrest came after officers located a female who was wanted for failing to appear at court in November 2022.
The female is now in custody and was taken to court this morning.
The two arrests are not connected.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team have arrested two people in Halliwell this evening.
"The first arrest came after officers stopped a vehicle due to the manner of driving.
"The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink drive and remains in custody. #OperationLimit #NoneForTheRoad
"The second arrest came after officers located a female who was wanted for failing to appear at court in November 2022. The female is now in custody and will be taken to court in the morning."
