Reality star David Potts has reacted after he was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother over the weekend.
The Ibiza Weekender star from Bolton beat Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin to the title, after Coronation Street actor Colson Smith placed third, former X Factor judge Louis Walsh came fourth and TV presenter Fern Britton placed fifth.
Potts said to the cameras: “I genuinely didn’t think I was going to (win)”, but said he has been himself throughout the whole process.
On Instagram, David finally responded to fans wishing him well and congratulating him on his win.
He said on an Instagram story: "Oh my god, what a crazy crazy few weeks it’s been hun.
"Got my final blazer there. First of all, I can’t believe I’ve won CBB. I am a CBB winner, oh my god.
"Secondly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who voted for me.
"It means the absolute world that you’re able to see all the different sides to me.
"I am loving the support, thank you so much.
"I am loving the memes, they are hilarious, and yeah, I really appreciate all of you honeybuns out there, and just remember hunnies, keep on slaying."
