Police and ambulance services have issued statements after emergency services were called to a street in Horwich.
Officers, along with North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) staff, were called to Catherine Street East yesterday afternoon (Monday, March 25).

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers were called at 1.30pm yesterday by colleagues from NWAS to a report of a concern for the welfare of a boy on Catherine Street East, Horwich.
“Emergency services attended and a boy was taken to hospital and, after treatment for a sprained ankle, the child was discharged.”
A spokesperson for NWAS said: “We attended an incident at a private address following a call at 1.26pm. A patient was taken to hospital.”
