A Bolton town centre shop has been temporarily closed due to maintenance work.
Poundland on Deansgate issued a statement on its front window stating that the store was closed, following “unplanned maintenance”.

There was no official date given for when they expect to reopen.
The statement said: “Please accept our apologies as our store is temporarily closed due to unplanned maintenance.”
The shop has redirected customers to the chain's nearest store on Newport Street, opposite Victoria Square.
Following the closure of Wilko in September last year, Poundland moved into the same unit so that it had a bigger space to the shop on Victoria Square.
The firm's store on Victoria Square, which is not as large as the Deansgate property, will remain open, Poundland previously said.
Poundland continues to prioritise former Wilko colleagues for roles and encourage them to follow Poundland’s posts on LinkedIn or visit www.poundlandcareers.co.uk to find details of open roles and how to apply for them.
