Doctor opens Ultima Aesthetics by Dr Yana in Westhoughton

Dr Yana Shiel, 34, moved to Westhoughton in 2018, from Belarus after meeting her husband, and she was just recently given her British citizenship, which Dr Shiel says has been a hard process.

Whilst in her home country Dr Shiel worked as a GP after graduating from the Belarusian State Medical University in 2013.

After gaining experience in the medical field as a doctor, she decided to pursue her passion for dermatology.

She said: “I always wanted to be a dermatologist because I like the aesthetic side.

“I went to Moscow and did my training there, and when I came to the UK I wanted to continue doing it, and  I also did some training here, and I got my level seven in aesthetics, which is the highest qualification – recognised globally.

“I just like to make people feel good about themselves, and help people when they have any insecurities, and I always advise the best the best treatment.

“I offer all of my treatment in a very natural way.”

Ultima Aesthetics by Dr Yana offers a range of cosmetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle treatment, lip augmentation, non-surgical face lifts, skin booster, rhinoplasty, and more.

The new clinic will officially open on May 10, and will be followed by a launch party from 6pm, which include performances from local dancers, a saxophone player, and drinks of prosecco.

It is located on 82B Market Street, and it is partially open at the moment, to give customers a chance to get to know her business.

She said: “I have opened the clinic partially for a couple of weeks, so that others can come and see me here and get to know my business.

“I always take training every year and improve my knowledge and go to international conventions.

“I always provide the latest treatment and the best products in my clinic, and use all the latest technology, and technics.”

Dr Shiel also has another clinic she runs in Lowton – known as Beauty Rooms.
