Bookmaker staff robbed at knifepoint

A ROBBER threatened staff at a bookmaker’s with a knife.
The raider struck at 8.30pm on Wednesday, November 26 at Ladbrokes in Leigh Road, Leigh.
He was armed with a 10-inch blade and demanded cash from the till.
One member of staff was unhurt but left shocked by the ordeal.
The robber was aged 18 or 19, about 5ft 6in tall, of small build.
He was wearing a hooded two-tone grey checked jacket.
