BURGLARS escaped with almost £19,000 worth of watches and electrical equipment.
The thieves carved out the wood around the lock and handle of the back door at a terrace house in Canada Street, Halliwell, between 4pm and 10.30pm last Monday.
Once inside they closed the curtains and searched the house filling pillow cases with the stolen goods.
They stole three Rolex watches, four Armani watches, four ornamental Samurai swords, a television, a DVD Player, and a PlayStation 3 console.
